Joseph Bull Wood-Fired Porcelain Table Bowl

An elegant but sturdy footed table bowl, with distinctive ridge close to the base, hand thrown for us in Oxfordshire, and fired in Oxford's Anagama wood-fired kiln. Suitable for cereal, soup or stews, its deep shape meaning food stays warm a little longer. With a porcelain body and an ash glaze, which varies from blue to green. Wheel-thrown by Joseph Bull, a studio potter based in Oxfordshire, who trained with Knighton Mill Pottery and the Leach Pottery in St Ives, before establishing his own studio in Wootton, Oxfordshire. Approximately 12.5cm diameter, 8.5cm tall.
