A long-handled brush of birch wood and horse hair used for massaging the body. The practice of dry massaging exfoliates and encourages renewal of the skin, as well as increasing circulation. For best results, start at the extremities, with long brushstrokes, moving slowly towards the heart. Measuring 38cm in length. From Iris Hantverk, whose Swedish and Estonian workshops provide training and employment for visually impaired craftsmen in the making of artisan brushes. Just over 38cm overall length, with a head of very approximately 12cm by 5cm wide.
