Iron melting pot
A small but heavy cast iron melting pot, crucible shaped and spouted to both sides. Seasoned and ready to use — perfect for melting butter, cheese or chocolate, or cooking sauces. And it can be used on any cooking hob, even induction or in the oven. The cast iron retains the heat well and perfectly distributes it. Wash by hand immediately after use with warm water — you’ll find it easiest to clean while it’s still warm. To avoid rust, do not soak, leave in the sink, or put cookware in the dishwasher. Made at the Lodge foundry, South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Capacity about 15oz, diameter about 4.5".
