A traditional butter dish comprising a flat dish with a domed lid, hand thrown for us in Oxfordshire. Designed to hold half a standard block of butter. With a stoneware / porcelain mix body and a tenmoku glaze, which is gas-fired to create a beautiful depth to the glaze. Wheel-thrown by Joseph Bull, a studio potter based in Oxfordshire, before establishing his own studio in Wootton, Oxfordshire.
