A simple salt pig with handle and wooden spoon, hand thrown for us in Oxfordshire. With a stoneware / porcelain mix body, a beech ash glazed exterior, tenmoku interior, which is gas-fired to create a beautiful depth to the glaze. Wheel-thrown by Joseph Bull, a studio potter based in Oxfordshire, who trained with Knighton Mill Pottery and the Leach Pottery in St Ives, before establishing his own studio in Wootton. Measures approximately 8cm high, 11cm diameter and 13.5cm overall length.
