A clear glass, mouth blown bauble for hanging upon the Christmas tree, or in a seasonal window, with an elegant drop shape, tapering to a point at each end. These mouth blown baubles come from small lamp workshops in Lauscha, Germany, the town where in 1847 Hans Greiner was credited with their invention, and where the blowing of Christmas ornaments, lamp-working of glass eyes, animals, even medical equipment, still exists as an almost cottage industry. Sold individually, 14cm long.
