These mouth blown baubles come from small lamp workshops in Lauscha, Germany, the town where in 1847 Hans Greiner was credited with their invention, and where the blowing of Christmas ornaments, lamp-working of glass eyes, animals, even medical equipment, still exists as an almost cottage industry.
