A small, snow beech handled multifunctional stainless steel gardening knife from Tsubame-Sanjo in Niigata Prefecture, north central Japan. Hori-hori means 'dig-dig' — this diminutive version is nonetheless a strong and capable aid in the greenhouse, garden pots or when dealing with indoor plants. Useful for digging, creating drills, cutting through shoots, braches and roots, weeding and even cutting twine. The mini hori-hori was first produced for those with balcony, box, or other small gardens and measures approximately 20cm by 2.5cm by 1.5cm, with a blade of 8.8cm. Supplied with a leatherette case.
