A 72% palm oil soap from Marseille where it has been made using the traditional method since 1856. Batch processed in large cauldrons that are heated to 120°C for ten days allowing for a slow and thorough saponification of lye and oil, after which the curds are washed in both fresh and salted water to remove any excess sodium hydroxide or other trace impurities, before finally being allowed to cool and air dry in large flat moulds. Olive soap is typically for personal use, white for household. 300 grams.
