Nickel plated Siren whistle

A professional orchestral, or perhaps theatrical nickel plated siren whistle with a complex rotating mechanism which accurately recreates the vibrating whine of an old fashioned air siren. Once beloved by cyclists for its remarkable ability to clear a path through the busiest of streets, it has been made in Joseph Hudson’s Birmingham factory since 1895, the year of its invention and patent.
