Enamel lunch pails
£30.00 – £55.00
White vitreous enamel food carriers or lunch-pails. The steel and enamel construction is tough enough to be used directly on any hob (including the frequently problematic induction) which means food can be both prepared in the containers, and reheated when required - it is advisable though not to do this with lids in place as the build up of pressure could potentially cause a small explosion. Made in Austria by a company with roots dating to 1550 and powered by their own hydroelectric plants, providing a model for environmentally responsible industry. 4 options: A smaller round lunch-pail, diameter 160mm height 67mm, capacity 0.75l; a larger round pail, diameter 160mm, height 83mm, capacity 1.0l; an oval lunch-pail measuring 132mm x 88mm x 127mm with a capacity of 0.75l; and a 2-tier version with each section measuring 167mm in diameter and 83mm in height, and overall dimensions of approximately 17.5cm x 25cm.
