Nickel-plated steel embroidery scissors from France in a classic rabbit pattern. Like the stork, the rabbit is an ancient symbol of fertility — think of its pairing even to this day with eggs, easter, and the celebratory rites of spring — so it's probable this scissor design too shares a similar maternal reference and origin. From small workshops in the town of Nogent in the Haute-Marne region of France — a place known for its cutlery and scissor manufacturing since the early 14th century. About 10cm overall length.
