Jack Welbourne decorated tea bowl
A hand-thrown tea bowl, decorated in a beautiful abstract leaf pattern. Made in Cardiff by studio potter Jack Welbourne and glazed in hand-mixed and applied glazes. A generously sized tea bowl, with thick walls allowing for a comfortable hold. After training in Cardiff and Gothenburg, Sweden, Welbourne set up his studio where he produces gas-fired wheel-thrown stoneware in red stoneware clay mined in Cornwall, using hand-mixed glazes made using potash, chalk, iron oxide and flint).
