A hand-forged fire striker made to the traditional curved and curled form of Swedish high carbon steel. Made in northern Sweden these found extensive use before the advent of matches and still retain the advantage of not running out at inopportune moments. Originally struck rapidly against natural flint these can also be used by the less adept against our Swedish fire-steels, which in combination with an ongoing supply of dry tinder should provide a near limitless supply of fire lighting capability.
