Hand-made bone folder, pointed
With either with one end pointed and one rounded, or else both ends rounded. 178mm. Sterilised cow bone. Not a voodoo device for the folding of bones, but rather a folder made of bone and used by bookbinders and leatherworkers for creasing and over-turning paper, card, and finer grades of leather. Still cut, shaped, and polished by hand in Carnforth, Lancashire, site of the one remaining horn-works in Britain.
