Robin warbler

Imbued perhaps with the spirit of Doolittle M. François Morel has since a childhood amongst the hills of the Rhône-Alpes region been making instruments so that he and others might communicate with birds, creating 'toys' that he hopes might inspire in their users a greater love of nature.
The robin warbler is a small hand device similar to the nightingale call, producing sound from the friction of metal against wood, and one which with variation in pressure and rhythm can well imitate the characteristic song of the European Robin. Information on the robin, and a sample of their song can be found here.
