The carbon steel blades can rust if left in wet, saline, or damp conditions — regular use and a periodic light re-coating with oil should help prevent this and keep your secateurs in tip-top condition. Used for general garden pruning, the strong action and sharp blades of these secateurs will make light work of most pruning jobs. Measure about 22cm total length, with blades of around 6.5cm.
