A handy size grating dish, perfect for grating ginger, garlic, daikon radish, carrots, etc. This grater is easy to use when a small portion is required and grates more finely compared to metal graters, creating a pulp, rather than separate pieces. The pouring spout can also be used as a handle while in use, to keep the grater steady. Made in Aichi Prefecture in Japan by Marumitsu Poterie, established in 1950, who create table and kitchenwares using a diverse range of natural materials (porcelain, stoneware, earthenware and open-fire resistant earthenware). Measures 138mm in diameter (152mm across spout), 27mm high, with a capacity of 150cc. Microwave and dishwasher safe, but not oven safe.
