120mm, or 150mm hand forged, Japanese scissors, with a bronzed blackened finish, and san mai laminated blades giving a harder more durable edge. Following lamination the scissors are forged as a single billet, the blades and centre being beaten flat at right angles, then the bar bent, set, and carefully tempered at the elbow to form a spring. Held between forefinger and thumb for more delicate work, or backhand down through the fist for tougher materials. 120mm or 150mm total length, with a blades of about 55mm or 70mm respectively.
