Musical balls sold either as a complete set of 12 - two each of red, green, yellow, orange, blue, and purple - in a cotton bag, or else individually (green or red) within a wooden box. Simple and beautiful rattles, each colour produces a specific and distinct sound when shaken, matching colours to sounds in a synesthetic game of pairing. Made in the town of Neuhausen, Saxony near the Czech border and the Ore mountains, an area with a long tradition of wood and toy manufacturing. The balls measure about 50mm in diameter, the boxes 67mm cubed.
