A warm ochre translucent-glazed porcelain tea-pot from Gifu Prefecture in central Japan. Part of a range of simple everyday yet high quality table-ware developed, as a modern re-interpretation and amalgamation of classical Japanese and western and forms coupled to traditional glazes, by Ono Rina working alongside Miyama ceramics. Light and beautifully finished, the teapot's spout filter is a joy to behold. This teapot stands at about 135mm high, and 170mm from handle to tip.
