Japanese Stainless Steel Rule, 15cm
£9.00

A steel rule, super straight and deadly accurate, made from hardened stainless steel. These metric rulers are made in Japan by the the Matsui Precision Manufacturing company, for draughtsmen, engineers and carpenters. Slightly sturdier than your average stainless steel ruler, each has conversion tables engraved on the reverse (inches › mm, tap drill › mm, and W.W. UNF/thread › mm). Japan was an early-adopter of the metric system of measurement in 1868, following the Meiji Restoration, so it’s no surprise that Japanese rulers are some of the best in the world. Zeroed at one end, with a hanging hole at the other.
