A classic batter bowl, hand thrown for us in Oxfordshire, with a wide pouring spout. Suitable for mixing cake or pancake batter, or whisking sauces. With a stoneware / porcelain mix body and a beech ash glaze, which is gas-fired to create a beautiful depth to the glaze. Wheel-thrown by Joseph Bull, a studio potter based in Oxfordshire, who trained with Knighton Mill Pottery and the Leach Pottery in St Ives, before establishing his own studio in Wootton, Oxfordshire.
