Kaweco Brass Sport
Kaweco Sport pocket fountain pen milled from solid aluminium or brass blanks, laser engraved, and hand finished. Kaweco, founded as Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik in 1883, began producing pocket fountain pens in 1912. This design dates from 1935, is small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket or purse, but more importantly sits well in the hand. It has an iridium tipped steel nib and is a genuine pleasure to write with, lending an undoubted style and fluidity to the script, which to this day eludes the ball or fibre pen. Cartridges are best removed before flying as rapid air pressure drops may cause undue leaks. Available in a choice silver or anthracite anodised, or raw polished silver aluminium finishes, or else solid brass. 105mm closed, 133mm in use.
