With a one piece hand forged carbon steel head, cut and shaped without welding and a white oak handle this is an extremely strong tool ideally suited to breaking up and aerating compacted soil, pulling weeds, and clearing straggly roots leaves and debris, especially between tight plantings or rows of vegetables. About 34cm long with 12cm tines over a 9 to 10cm spread.
