A sand-cast, solid brass key ring from a foundry which began working in 1897 in the city of Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The circle plate on the key ring can be placed between keys, differentiating work, or home keys. Simple, but elegant, the small details provide subtle luxury in an item used daily. The cast shape is left ‘I-Hada' — with a raw cast surface maintaining any texture or discolouration drawn from the sand into which it was poured, an expression of its solidity, manufacture, and uniqueness. Designed by Oji Masanori. Measures 32 x 35mm
