Spanish grape harvesting secateurs

A choice of forged carbon steel secateurs with either flat ground curved blades or else straight with one serrated and one flat ground blade; both designed to, albeit differently, grip the stem being cut. Orange lacquered for visibility if dropped and better protection from corrosion, the blades can nevertheless rust if left in wet, saline, or damp conditions - regular use and a periodic light re-coating with oil can help prevent this. Used for grape harvesting on the Iberian Peninsula, these are ideally suited to general light pruning, flower, and fruit harvesting work. The straight secateurs measure about 19cm total length, with blades of around 6cm, the curved just under 20cm, again with blades of approximately 6cm.
