Strong secateurs from Okatuse of Japan made with blades of Hitachi Yasugi high carbon steel and a simple single pivot design. The steel is hardened to 60 to 61 on the Rockwell scale for a long lasting edge and the handles covered in red and white grips, both for comfort and because the red is highly visible in daylight, whilst the white can be seen more easily at night - especially useful for those who enjoy gardening by moonlight should that kind of romance appeal. About 20.5cm overall length.
