Four leaf bottle opener
A cast iron bottle opener, with a baked black urushi finish, designed after a four leaf clover by Ono Rina and so shaped and hoped to be attractive enough to hang neatly upon a wall, to have a place and not get lost or annoyingly mislaid. Produced in Yamagata a city whose fine river sand has proven ideal for the production of ferrous and non ferrous castings for nearly a millennia, and granting it renown throughout Japan most especially for the production of Tetsubin - iron teapots. This is the four-leaf opener and trivet shown to the left of the clover opener. About 85mm by 85mm by 6mm.
