A wooden handled, fanned-wire headed fly swat designed to give a little, killing but reducing the chance of crushing and therefore bursting its prey, leaving fewer stains and less mess on walls and furniture. Unfortunately its effectiveness is still entirely dependent on the skill of the operator. From a small family owned brushworks in North Rhine-Westfalia which since the 1930s has been hand producing unusual and high quality brush ware. About 45cm long.
