Finnish wool covered hot water bottles
2 litre German made hot water bottles with pure new wool covers woven in Lapua, Finland, at the workshops of Lapuan Kankurit, run by a fourth generation weaving family and a mill initially set up by husband and wife Juha and Liisa Hjelt, but now run by their son Esko and his wife Jaana. Whilst the raw wool comes from New Zealand, all the yarn is spun and dyed in Europe, with the warping, wefting, weaving, and finishing taking place in Lapua itself, but some sewing done in Lithuania.
