Double hook 142 black
It was in 1937 that three Bohlin brothers opened the Skoglund Metallgjuteri foundry in Anderstorp, Sweden, with the progressive idea of making something useful from the aluminium scrap they thought so wantonly discarded. Thus was born Gunnar Bohlin's famous hall rack, but also as importantly a host of simple anonymous hooks, hangers, and fixings. Hook 142 is still cast in wholly recycled aluminium and finished either raw, or with a black or white powder coating. About 75mm wide, 47mm high, with a projection of about 34mm.
