50cm scissor operated blackened steel fire-tongs ideal for wood-burning and solid fuel stoves as well as open fires. Hand produced in Catalonia at the workshops of Cuchillería Pallarès the one surviving knife and tool maker in a town once dotted with small manufacturers. Founded in 1917 by brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès Canal they are now a third generation family company with a workforce of 15 whose owners and management still split their time between administrative necessity and manual craft production.
