A log or blanket storage basket, hand woven of birch strips of between five and seven centimetres width using methods thought to have been in use throughout the Fennoscandian Peninsula since before recorded history. From a Finnish visually impaired workers cooperative. Measuring about 50cm front to back, 33cm across the handles and 59cm high, these are ideal for storing small logs and kindling, blankets, or transporting moderately lightweight loads.
