A classic curved bladed rectangular No2 heavyweight 4mm stainless steel bladed hacking cleaver with a polished boxwood handle. Hand produced in Catalonia at the workshops of Cuchillería Pallarès the one surviving knife and tool maker in a town once dotted with small manufacturers. Founded in 1917 by brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès Canal they are now a third generation family company with a workforce of 15 whose owners and management still split their time between administrative necessity and manual craft production. With an overall length of about 30cm, with a blade approximately 16.5cm from bolster to tip, and 10cm at its deepest point.
