Arthur Wright & Son Barlow knife
£32.00
Believed to have developed in seventeenth century Sheffield as an affordable but strong outdoors-mans pocket knife, the barlow is typified by its long bolster, tapering rounded handle, and clip ended blade. Handmade with brass linings and walnut scales around a carbon steel blade in the Sheffield workshops of A Wright & Sons, a company which since 1947 has sought to maintain and revive the traditional skills and forms of a noble city.
