Japanese hand-forged grafting and harvesting knife
A hand-forged gardener’s knife from the Zakuri blacksmith’s cooperative of Tosa, Japan. Left still baring witness to the blows of its forging the blade is triple layered, with a core and edge of the renowned ‘White Paper’ steel, an extremely pure and hard carbon steel with an exceptionally fine martensitic structure allowing for hard, fine, and long-lasting edges - although also with a tendency to rust if not kept dry and clean. Typically used for harvesting and grafting. Orders including any bladed items will incur an additional £3.25 courier age verification charge and legally require delivery to persons aged 18 and over.
