Natural hand and sustainably harvested sponges from the eastern Mediterranean sea. Natural sponge is generally softer than its synthetic equivalents, and being formed not of bubbles, but a matrix of interwoven and interconnected tubules, both holds more liquid without dripping, and rinses more quickly. Best washed in clean water after use and hung to dry, for which a hanging cord is attached together with a small wooden duckling. About 9cm in its maximum diameter.
