A round tray with a herringbone weave for elegant table presentation woven solely from akebia vine in Kaminoyama City, Japan by Nao Ochiai, who has been working with akebia fibre for over two decades. Akebia is a vine which grows along the ground and makes very strong, long-lasting baskets. The family annually collect wild akebi vines in the nearby mountains. 25cm diameter.
