A handy axe and tool maintenance set from Adler, Germany, comprising of  a double sided ceramic sharpening puck, and a rejuvenating wax for wooden handled tools. The rough 80 grit side of the puck is perfect for ironing out chips, burrs, and imperfections from heavy use, while the ceramic 220 grit side is ideal for refining, sharpening, and maintaining. No oil should be necessary. Recessed finger groves combined with a German-made rubber band should create a strong handhold and secure grip. The wax is ideal for wooden handled tools, made with beeswax, linseed oil and fragrant clove oil. Perfect for reviving garden and kitchen tools that have been left exposed to the elements, and for ensuring the longevity of wood handles generally. To use, sand away rough spots, then clean and dry the handle of your weathered tools before applying a generous layer using a cloth. Leave for a few minutes to absorb. 100g in a metal tin.
