Finnish linen and Tencel dishcloth, white/blueberry
Washed 39% linen, 43% Tencel and 18% cotton ultra-absorbent textured weave dishcloth with a cotton hanging loop attached, measuring 25cm x 32cm. Woven by the master weavers at Lapuan Kankurit, in the Ostrobothnian district of western Finland. Tencel is a material made from pure wood pulp, with a very environmentally friendly production method. Lapuan Kankurit, a fourth-generation weaving family, has been creating its beautiful linen fabrics for over 45 years. Set up initially by husband and wife Juha and Liisa Hjelt, it is now run by their son Esko and his wife Jaana. Devoted to their craft, they weave nothing but the absolute best quality, with uncompromising workmanship, using only natural raw materials, such as linen and wool.
