A painted birch, large size barbecue basting brush with tampico fibre bristles, hand made in Finland by the crafts people of a workers cooperative for the visually impaired. The longer handle enables the user to keep a greater distance from the heat, while the broad  brush allows for speedy basting of large areas. Hand wash and towel dry before leaving to air dry between uses as if left soaking natural materials will degrade.
