Blackwing 602 Walnut Storage Box & Sharpener Set
£150.00

A beautifully crafted storage box made from high-quality round-grain walnut with a cork-lined interior and secure magnetic closures, containing 24 Blackwing 602 pencils and a Blackwing One-Step Long Point Sharpener. Each box is crafted from beautiful, high-quality round-grain walnut wood in a rich natural brown colour. Perfect for storing and protecting your graphite pencils and accessories.

Blackwing pencils are renowned for the quality of graphite, iconic shape and replaceable eraser, but mostly they are prized for their smooth writing feel and clear marking. Blackwing pencil cores are made from a proprietary blend of Japanese graphite, clay (for strength), and wax (for smoothness). The Blackwing 602 is the classic Blackwing Pencil. 'Half the pressure twice the speed'. Used by John Steinbeck, Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein and Chuck Jones (who proudly used Blackwings to create Bugs Bunny and countless other Looney Tunes characters). Discontinued in 1998, the Blackwing Pencil is now making a comeback.
