Kaweco, founded as Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik in 1883, began producing pocket fountain pens in 1912. This is an ink ball version of a design dating from 1935, and is certainly small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket or purse; more importantly it also sits well in the hand. It is slightly unusual in that it takes standard ink cartridges, this gives the line something of the quality of a fountain pen, means it is infinitely refillable, yet retains the convenience of a ball point. 105mm closed, 132 in use. Available in black, blue, green, red, or white.
