Valobra have been making soaps in Genoa, Italy since 1903, using methods and formulas developed since the 18th century by the master soap makers of the Franco-Italian riviera between Portofino and Marseille. This shaving stick is still produced in this tradition, the liquid soap is boiled at length, reduced and concentrated, then seasoned for at least 6 months. This is a hard soap in stick form, enriched with vitamin E and lecithin, it is intended for use without a cup, rubbed directly onto the skin, and a lather generated using a brush in situ.
