After a long hiatus they are finally back! Deep green, red, and camel Pennsylvania pattern Welsh tapestry blankets and throws, woven in Cynwyl Elfed, Carmarthenshire on a dobby loom using skills and techniques that go back over 100 years, and in a mill dating back to the 1880's. One of the few surviving of the once flourishing Welsh spinning and weaving industry. The Pennsylvania pattern was originally developed for a North American blanket trader, and named after a state still known for its Welsh settlers, descendants, and connections. The throw measures 170cm x 125cm, the single blanket 185cm x 255cm, the double 225cm x 255cm, and the king 260cm x 255cm.
