Made near Nantes in France, made of chrome and nickel plated steel, with a tempered cutter, and dipped plastic handles, the Super Kim safety can opener, is designed for simplicity and longevity in use. Its compact size makes it the perfect companion for camping trips, or picnic boxes, or simply minimal space wastage in kitchen drawers. Despite this it is surprisingly easy to use, winding itself through and piercing the can lid as the handle is turned, and simultaneously crimping the cut edge as it moves around the can, minimising any sharp and ragged edges. Without long handles it can be used on either side of the can, enabling left or right handed use.
